Northside Hospital has announced the addition of new physicians and expanded care options at several locations across Georgia.

Primary Care Dahlonega is now part of the Northside Hospital network. The practice, located at 400 Walmart Way, Suite F in Dahlonega, includes Dr. Jeff Dowis, Dr. Lindsay Dowis, Karen Tomlinson, PA-C, and Taylor Harkness, F-NP. Two endocrinology specialists have joined Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic. Dr. Michael Marino sees patients at 1270 Friendship Road, Suite 100 in Braselton and is fellowship-trained in endocrinology, metabolism and lipids. Dr. Kayla Patel practices at 1240 Jesse Jewell Parkway SE, Suite 500 in Gainesville and is board-certified with clinical interests that include thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, diabetes and parathyroid conditions. Dr. Suzanne Smith has joined Northside Radiation Oncology Consultants as a board-certified radiation oncologist with more than two decades of experience in academic, public and private settings. In surgical care advancements, Dr. Michelle Glasgow from Atlanta Gynecologic Oncology recently completed her 1,000th robotic surgery case in Canton.

Dr. Frances Hu has joined Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates at both Gwinnett and Sandy Springs locations as a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery. She specializes in minimally invasive procedures for colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (gcrsa.com).

Holland Piper, MHS, PA-C has joined Northside Neonatal Surgery in Sandy Springs as a certified physician assistant specializing in pediatric general surgery with an interest in patient education and care practices (northsideneonatal.com).

A new orthopedics and sports medicine clinic—Northside Hospital Orthopedics Sports Medicine Specialists—has opened at 2685 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 110 in Suwanee/Johns Creek.
