Northside Hospital has started construction on a new medical office building in Loganville, Walton County. The facility, called Northside Medical Loganville, will be located at 4500 Atlanta Highway and is planned as a two-story structure with 40,000 square feet of space. It will offer several services including imaging, cardiology, primary care, OB-GYN, and general surgery.

The project is being developed in partnership with a private developer who will own the building. Site preparation has begun and vertical construction is expected to start in January 2026. The opening of the building is scheduled for November 2026.

Charlie Dickhaus, senior vice president of Realty Trust Group and director of real estate for Northside Hospital, commented on the development: “This groundbreaking marks a significant milestone in Northside Hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality health care to the residents of Loganville. Access to state-of-the-art facilities helps support building healthier communities.” He added: “We are thrilled about the project and to be making an investment in the Loganville community.”

Debbie Bilbro, president and CEO of Northside Hospital Gwinnett/Duluth, said: “Northside Hospital is excited to expand our ambulatory services to the Loganville community. We look forward to the completion of this beautiful new medical office building, which will house not only primary care but a rotation of key specialists focused on the care of those who live and work in Loganville.”

In addition to this project in Loganville, Northside has recently opened other medical office buildings in Buford and Snellville. Construction continues on an 11-story patient tower at Northside Hospital Gwinnett’s campus in Lawrenceville. This expansion will add 200 beds to Northside Gwinnett and make it the largest hospital within the Northside system; completion is expected by late 2025.
