NCR Voyix Corporation has started the transition of its self-checkout and point-of-sale hardware businesses to an outsourced original design and manufacturing model. This move is being carried out through a commercial agreement with Ennoconn Corporation, a global provider of industrial IoT, AI, and embedded technology solutions.

According to the agreement, Ennoconn will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, warranting, supplying, and shipping self-checkout and point-of-sale hardware directly to NCR Voyix customers. NCR Voyix will act as a hardware sales agent, coordinating the purchase and delivery of these products to customers. The company expects that as a result of this transition, it will begin recording revenue from hardware sales on a net basis starting in the second quarter of 2026.

James G. Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of NCR Voyix, said: “Ennoconn has been a decades-long supplier of NCR Voyix. This transition ensures our customers will maintain access to market-leading hardware technology while allowing us to focus squarely on advancing our platform-led software strategy.”

NCR Voyix is based in Atlanta and operates in more than 35 countries. The company provides unified commerce solutions for shopping and dining by combining its platform with payment capabilities and services developed through industry experience.

Ennoconn Corporation is headquartered in New Taipei City and became a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group in 2007. The company delivers technology solutions for markets such as smart city, smart manufacturing, smart retail, financial services, and media & entertainment. Its strategy includes integrating manufacturing systems with emerging technologies like cloud data storage and AI across its platforms.
