Members of District 77 in Minnesota have supported Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive this holiday season. Locals 737 and 459 approved funding motions that contributed a large portion of this year’s donations, resulting in over $1,600 worth of toys for families in the community.

Union members took an active role by shopping for toys and delivering a truckload to the drive.

“IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli said, ‘District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays. Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.’”

Eric Jorgensen, President of IAM Local 737, stated, “Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year. Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.”

District 77 emphasizes that giving back has long been part of its values and expressed pride in helping bring joy to local families during the holidays.
