Kelvin Williams, deputy elections supervisor with Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections, has been recognized with the Georgia Award of Excellence in Election Administration. The award, established by the Georgia Democracy Resilience Network and The Carter Center, highlights the dedication of poll workers and election administrators throughout the state.
The recognition was presented by Elections Supervisor Zach Manifold at the second annual Georgia Civic Excellence Awards Dinner.
“Election workers are often our friends and neighbors — the unsung heroes of our democratic system,” said Manifold. “I’m especially proud of Kelvin’s dedication and leadership, which have made such a lasting impact on elections in Gwinnett.”
Williams has worked with Georgia voters for more than two decades. He has served in Gwinnett County since 2016, focusing on ensuring that every community member’s vote is counted.
Gwinnett County schools saw enrollment rise slightly by less than 0.1% during the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year (https://www.gadoe.org/).
