IAM Union leaders, including International President Brian Bryant and Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, recently toured facilities in Wisconsin operated by Mercury Marine and John Deere. Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo also joined the visit, meeting with members from IAM Local 1947 at Mercury Marine and Local 873 at John Deere.

Local officials guided the union officers through both sites. During the tours, Bryant commented on the work being done: “I am impressed by the high-quality work and skills displayed by our union members in manufacturing products like Mercury Outboard engines and premium John Deere equipment.”

Workers at Mercury Marine discussed their roles in machining, pouring, and grinding processes. They emphasized their pride in producing American-made products.
