The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) recently held its 2025 Joint Air Transport Safety Committee (JATSC) Conference at the William W. Winpisinger Center in Hollywood, Maryland. The event focused on several key areas, including promoting collaborative safety programs, preventing injuries, mitigating hazards, supporting training and education, and advocating for strong worker safety reporting systems.

The conference included daily video wrap-up reports that featured presentations on topics such as distracted driving and workplace issues related to carelessness and complacency.
