IAM retirees recently gathered at the IAM Retirees Conference to discuss their experiences as active members and the impact of their work over the years. The event provided a platform for retirees to reflect on their contributions to fighting for dignity, fairness, and strong contracts throughout their careers.

Retirees shared lessons they learned during their time in the union and emphasized the importance of ongoing engagement within the organization. They encouraged current members to continue participating actively and to maintain efforts in organizing.

“Our message to today’s members is clear: get involved, stay engaged, and keep organizing,” retirees said at the conference.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) continues to highlight the voices of its retired members as a source of guidance for new generations.
