On Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to charitable giving, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) highlighted its support for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines. The organization launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser, encouraging donations to assist individuals in need.

According to IAM, contributions made will help provide service dogs to military veterans with PTSD, people who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism. These service dogs offer important support and companionship.

“Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides,” the statement read.

Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines is one of IAM’s favored charities. The campaign follows major shopping events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday and aims to encourage charitable action during the holiday season.

The organization urged supporters to consider making a contribution on Giving Tuesday to help those who rely on service animals for daily assistance.
