IAM District 160 held a fundraising event at Topgolf in Renton, Washington, raising over $30,000 for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC). The event brought together more than 100 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), along with their families and supporters. Activities included golf games, bingo, raffle prizes, and a silent auction.

The fundraiser supports GDA | TLC’s mission to provide trained service dogs at no cost to individuals who are blind or visually impaired, veterans, and children with autism. According to IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez, “The IAM’s commitment to Guide Dogs of America goes back decades. Our members have always answered the call to give back, and this fundraiser is another example of the compassion and strength that defines our union family.”

Zac Collins, Business Representative for IAM District 160, led the organization of the event. The IAM has supported GDA | TLC for many years as its chosen charity. Over time, union members have raised millions of dollars for the organization.
