More than 120 women in business attended the Gwinnett Leadership Organization for Women (GLOW) Reception for a Cause on February 17. The event, hosted by Jambos, focused on networking and female leadership while supporting children in foster care globally. Attendees worked together to roll, sort, and pack pajamas for donation.

Sponsors of the event included AboutFace Skincare and Northside Hospital as leading sponsors, with MST, Rainbow Village, Walton Gas as principal sponsors, and DECA and The Gwinnett Sports Commission as partner event sponsors. Their support highlights a commitment to advancing women in business and strengthening the Gwinnett community.

The evening provided opportunities for participants to expand their professional networks and develop new relationships. Organizers noted that the pajama benefit served as a reminder that business achievement can be linked with positive community impact.

“GLOW continues to create intentional spaces where connection drives opportunity and service supports those in need — advancing female leadership and helping Champion Gwinnett through engagement, generosity, and growth,” according to the organizers.

The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce serves one of the most diverse counties in the nation and supports a wide range of small businesses. It was recognized as Chamber of the Year in 2023. The organization represents more than 2,100 member businesses and seeks to promote business growth, unite leaders, and encourage an inclusive economy. It also hosts over 220 events each year to foster networking among professionals. More information about its mission can be found on its official website.
