The Gwinnett Chamber announced on March 9 that it has received national certification from Great Place to Work, marking the first time in its history to earn this recognition. The certification is based on employee feedback collected through the Great Place to Work Trust Index Survey, which found that 91% of Gwinnett Chamber employees consider it a great place to work, compared to an average of 65% at typical U.S. workplaces.

This recognition highlights the Chamber’s efforts to build a strong workplace culture and support economic growth in the region. Over the past year, the organization expanded employee benefits and professional development opportunities while advancing membership services and programs. The advocacy team led a campaign supporting renewal of the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (E-SPLOST), and Partnership Gwinnett facilitated about $396 million in private capital investment across target industries. The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation also increased programs aimed at helping small businesses obtain certifications and compete for larger contracts.

The Chamber serves more than 2,100 member companies across industries and supports diverse small businesses in one of the nation’s most diverse counties, according to the official website. It was named Chamber of the Year in 2023 by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives according to its official website. The organization also hosts over 220 events annually to encourage networking and business growth as reported by its official website.

The Gwinnett Chamber seeks to promote business, unite leaders, and nurture an inclusive economy according to its official website. Operating in Gwinnett County—a highly diverse area—the organization has been recognized with Five-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber in 2022 and received a five-year certification from the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2025.

Earning Great Place to Work Certification further strengthens the organization’s national reputation and reinforces its commitment to organizational excellence. Businesses or professionals interested in learning more can visit GwinnettChamber.org.
