Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson is set to perform the ceremonial First Serve at the Atlanta Vibe’s home volleyball match on Sunday, January 11, at Gas South Arena. The event will also feature a proclamation from the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, which acknowledges the Atlanta Vibe for its influence in the community and for supporting the county’s One Gwinnett initiative during the 2025 season.
“The Atlanta Vibe represents what One Gwinnett looks like in action,” said Hendrickson. “They inspire our community, especially our young people and demonstrate the power of teamwork, leadership and shared purpose both on and off the court.”
The proclamation was previously presented at a Board of Commissioners meeting. It recognized how the Atlanta Vibe has brought residents together, promoted professional women’s sports in Gwinnett County, and reflected values such as unity and collaboration that were highlighted in Chairwoman Hendrickson’s 2025 State of the County Address.
“We are proud to call Gwinnett home and for our team to be part of ‘One Gwinnett,” said Atlanta Vibe Owner Colleen Craig. “The support for the Atlanta Vibe from this community and Chairwoman Hendrickson gives us an unrivaled home court advantage.”
