Georgia Powder Coating (GPC), based in Gainesville, Georgia, has been named a Products Finishing Top Shop for 2025. This marks the fourth time GPC has received this national recognition, having previously earned the honor in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The company is currently the only powder coating operation in the United States to achieve this distinction four times.

Products Finishing magazine conducts an annual benchmarking program that evaluates surface finishing operations on technology, business practices, and operational standards. Facilities recognized as Top Shops are considered leaders within the industry.

“While this isn’t about headlines or hype, it’s meaningful for our team,” said Dallas Cooley, CEO of Georgia Powder Coating. “We believe God has truly blessed our company, and that blessing is reflected in the pride and purpose our team brings to work every single day. This recognition reinforces our mission —to serve God and finish well in all we do.”

Scott Francis, Editor-in-Chief of Products Finishing, stated: “Being named the number one Top Shop in North America reflects GPC’s unparalleled commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and leadership in surface finishing — setting a benchmark others aspire to.”

Top Shop honorees receive detailed benchmarking reports that highlight strengths and identify areas for further development. GPC uses these insights to improve its services for customers and partners.

The company employs nearly 100 people at its Gainesville facility and continues to invest in new equipment and workforce training. These efforts support manufacturing growth throughout Georgia.

Founded in 1999, Georgia Powder Coating provides powder coating and finishing services for industries such as aerospace, original equipment manufacturing (OEM), architecture, among others. More information can be found at www.georgiapowdercoating.com.
