As Georgia continues to adapt to rapid economic changes, state leaders are considering multiple strategies for job growth. Steve Justice, executive director of the Georgia Centers of Innovation, described two main approaches during a recent discussion.

“One is to invite people to come and bring them (jobs) there, the other is to grow them from the ground up, and you’ve got to have both,” Justice said.

The Georgia Centers of Innovation plays a key role in supporting businesses and communities as they navigate shifting market demands. The organization provides resources aimed at fostering both the attraction of new employers and the development of homegrown companies within the state.
