Georgia Gwinnett College announced that its provost, Chavonda Mills, has been chosen to participate in the 2025 Academy for New Provosts. The program is organized by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). Mills will join a group of 25 higher education leaders who were selected for this opportunity.

The academy, now in its sixth year, is designed to support new provosts at state colleges and universities. Participants will have opportunities to engage with peers and learn strategies for addressing challenges unique to their roles.
