Catherine Jannik Downey, who serves as associate professor and interim dean of Library Services at Georgia Gwinnett College, has coauthored a chapter in a new publication focused on library leadership. Stephanie Bennett, former assistant department head of Access Services at the college, is also credited as a coauthor.

Their chapter, titled “You Can’t Always Get What You Want, But If You Try Sometimes, You Get What You Need,” appears in a collection examining how librarians make decisions in both formal and informal leadership positions. The chapter is available through Georgia Gwinnett College’s institutional repository, General Space.
