Three faculty members from Georgia Gwinnett College gave a presentation on artificial intelligence to the board of directors and executive team of Peach State Federal Credit Union during a retreat at Lanier Islands Resort in Buford, Georgia. Dr. Ali Kooti, assistant professor of accounting, Dr. Grace Onodipe, associate professor of economics, and Dr. Jason Delaney, professor of economics, led the session.
The presentation, titled “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of AI,” offered an introduction to artificial intelligence. It explained what AI is, discussed its impact on society, and addressed both positive and negative aspects of its use. The session also explored potential future developments in AI.
The event was organized as part of the credit union’s retreat activities and aimed to inform its leadership about current trends and issues related to artificial intelligence.
