The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) and the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) have announced the participants for the 2025-2026 Georgia Supportive Housing Institute. This initiative brings together five teams and a group of individuals as a conceptual team to advance supportive housing development across the state.

Now in its second year, the Georgia Supportive Housing Institute is part of CSH’s ongoing effort to improve affordable and supportive housing. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering property design, service delivery, funding strategies, and long-term operations for multi-family developments.

The inaugural class of the Institute led to proposals for 688 new housing units statewide, including 257 supportive housing units. The continued partnership between DCA and CSH aims to build on these results.

“DCA is proud to be a part of a program that empowers Georgia’s developers to create safe, affordable, and supportive housing that meet communities’ needs,” said Laura Ann Holland, DCA Director of Strategy and Key Initiatives. “Viewing the results of the inaugural class, we know this new set of developers will also gain knowledge that they will use to help vulnerable populations attain safe, affordable housing.”

Deirdre Bolden, CSH Southeast Director, added: “We are enthusiastic about building upon the success and momentum of last year’s Georgia Supportive Housing Institute. Thanks to our continued partnership with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, we can support a new cohort of teams committed to increasing supportive housing across the state. Georgia’s housing challenges require solutions that are both strategic and community driven. The Institute brings together teams from across the state to create supportive housing models tailored to the unique needs of their regions. It is an honor to design and learn alongside teams committed to building sustainable, high-quality housing that meets people where they are and helps them thrive.”

After completing the program, participating teams may apply for CSH’s Community Investment loan products as well as DCA’s Housing Tax Credit Program. Participation in the Institute also provides bonus points when applying for DCA’s anticipated Supportive Housing Notice of Funding Opportunity.

This year’s participating organizations include:

Columbus Team: New Horizons Behavioral Health (Team Lead), Southeast Housing Partners LLC (Developer), Greystone Properties (Property Manager), United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley/Home for Good (Community Collaborator), Essential Cornerstone (Other Team Member).

Dahlonega and Forsyth County Team: Landbridge Development LLC (Team Lead), Resource Housing Group Inc., Gateway Management (Property Manager), Family First Villages (Service Provider/Community Collaborator).

Canton Team: TBG Residential serves as team lead, developer, and property manager; MUST Ministries provides services; Canton Housing Authority participates as another team member.

Atlanta Team 1: Led by 3Keys Inc., with Tapestry Development as developer; 3Keys also manages property management duties along with service provision.
