Fanta is launching a Halloween-themed event called the Haunted Fanta Factory in New York City, taking place from October 29 to 31 at High Line Nine. The event coincides with the theatrical release of “Black Phone 2” on October 17 and “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” on December 5.

The brand has partnered with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to bring horror movie characters such as The Grabber (Black Phone), Freddy Fazbear (Five Nights at Freddy’s), M3gan (M3gan), Chucky (Child’s Play), and Michael Myers (Halloween) into the experience. Each section of the factory will be themed after one of these characters, providing visitors with interactive challenges inspired by their respective movies.

In addition to the physical event, Fanta has introduced limited-edition cans featuring flavors like Fanta Chucky’s Punch, M3gan grape, The Grabber strawberry, Freddy Fazbear orange, and Michael Myers pineapple. These special edition packs also feature QR codes that consumers can scan for exclusive digital content.

Ibrahim Salim Khan, Global VP of Fanta, commented on the campaign: “This year’s Fanta Halloween campaign has been a scream, quite literally. When five iconic horror villains came after their delicious Fanta, people didn’t run, they hunted down every collectible pack and flavor. Far from being scared, they went on a full-blown monster chase. We’re not done yet. As Halloween night creeps closer, we’re teaming with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to bring you a one-of-a-kind scare.”

Tickets for the New York City event are sold out but limited walk-in entry will be available each day. Further details can be found online.

For those unable to attend in person, Fanta is also offering a virtual Haunted Fanta Factory experience accessible worldwide. Participants can explore themed rooms and interact with horror villains through this digital platform.
