Chef David Doyle will serve as Chef in Residence at The Dining Room in Madison for the month of March, according to a Mar. 17 announcement from the restaurant.

The Chef in Residence program is designed to bring guest chefs with diverse backgrounds and regional experience to The Dining Room, offering guests a unique culinary experience that changes with each residency. Each chef’s tenure is shaped by seasonal ingredients, storytelling, and their own distinctive approach to cuisine.

The program was created by MAD Hospitality founder Preston Snyder and consulting chef Shaun Doty. Snyder and Doty first met while working together at Gunter Seeger’s Atlanta restaurant, The Dining Room at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead.

Doyle, who was born in Miami, has worked in several high-profile kitchens across Las Vegas resorts and fine-dining establishments. His training includes time spent alongside renowned chefs such as Joël Robuchon and Daniel Boulud, as well as positions at Jean-Georges Steakhouse at ARIA, Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio, and D.O.C.G. Enoteca at The Cosmopolitan. He has also led kitchens as Chef de Cuisine at Lexie’s Bistro in Las Vegas and brought his expertise to Heartsong Lodge and Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia.

Snyder said, “Chef Doyle brings the technical discipline and thoughtful approach that define truly great dining experiences. His residency gives guests the opportunity to experience creative, seasonally driven dishes rooted in local ingredients and delivered with a level of precision that he learned from some of the best chefs in the country, including Chef Doty.”

The appointment highlights The Dining Room’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative dining experiences through its rotating chef residencies.
