A Buckhead estate named Woodbine has been listed for sale at $25 million, making it the most expensive home currently on the market in Atlanta. The listing, reported by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, could set a new record for residential sales in the city if it sells near its asking price. The current record is held by a $19.8 million sale in Tuxedo Park last year.

Located at 881 West Conway Drive near Chastain Park, Woodbine sits on 17 acres and is one of the largest contiguous residential properties within Atlanta’s city limits. The main residence and guesthouse together span about 15,000 square feet, with an asking price that equates to roughly $1,667 per square foot.

The property is being marketed by Chase Mizell and Josh Reeves of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. According to Fulton County records, Woodbine last changed hands for just over $10 million in 2008.

Built in 2002, the French Neoclassical estate features limestone exteriors, mahogany doors, and leaded-glass windows. The main house offers six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, three partial bathrooms, and a grand foyer with dual cantilevered limestone staircases. The primary suite includes two bathrooms and dressing rooms; upstairs are four ensuite bedrooms along with additional living spaces such as an office and media salon.

An attached suite provides separate living quarters suitable for extended family or staff. The terrace level houses wellness amenities including a fitness studio, sauna, and resistance pool. Outdoor features include manicured lawns, formal gardens, private lakes, greenhouses, trails throughout the grounds, an equestrian stable at one end of the property, and a vanishing-edge pool behind the home.

Other notable luxury transactions in Atlanta include an off-market deal exceeding $18 million in 2021 and a $17.5 million purchase by David Turner from Tyler Perry in April 2016.
