IAM union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that brings changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions. The agreement was negotiated by IAM District 142 and includes wage increases for all classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay back to the contract’s expiration date, premium increases, sick time buyback provisions, and improvements to vacation accrual as well as updates to surveillance language, progressive discipline language, and shift language.

Richie Johnsen, IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President, stated: “This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB. This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”

IAM District 142 will collaborate with company leadership to ensure full understanding and prompt execution of the new contract.

John M. Coveny, Jr., President and Directing General Chair of IAM District 142 said: “This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections. It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) continues its efforts to support its members through collective bargaining agreements like this one.
